Google: Google Home

Google Home is Google’s voice-activated home assistant. It’s similar to Amazon Echo in that it can play music, news, perform home automation tasks and answer questions.
Google Home can answer complicated questions, unlike Echo, because the Google Assistant that’s part of Google Home gathers answers from across the web rather than just from selected sources.
Google Home was announced in May 2016 and began shipping to consumers in early November 2016.
