Good morning, we hope you’re enjoying the holiday,

We are off today, but commerce marketing never sleeps, right? The retail media and marketing landscape has been evolving rapidly. The opportunities for retail marketers have never been greater or more competitive. We’ve been following these trends and news closely and are looking back at some of these recent developments.

In case you missed it, this month we reported that Microsoft PromoteIQ’s integration with Microsoft Advertising is now in beta, Google scooped up hardware firm Pointy to bring product and inventory data from small local retailers online and has begun serving organic “Popular Product” listings powered by product schema and feeds.

As Amazon’s advertising business grows, we are tracking where budgets are coming from, where they’re going on the platform and how companies are resourcing these teams. If you haven’t yet, please take a few moments to complete this year’s Amazon Advertising Survey

At SMX West in San Jose next month, we will dive deep with two days of tactics and big ideas from some of the top e-commerce marketers around. We’ll also be unveiling our latest must-have Periodic Table on Digital Commerce Marketing at the conference. We hope you’ll join us.

Our recently-released Martech Intelligence Report on Digital Commerce Advertising Management takes an in-depth look at the tools marketers are using to manage their campaigns on marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart and more, with an eye toward helping you find the best for your brand.
