Yahoo Issues Search “Weather Report”

Yahoo has announced another search index update this morning:

“We’ll be rolling out some changes to our crawling, indexing and ranking algorithms over the next few days and expect the update will be completed soon. As you know, throughout this process you may see some ranking changes and page shuffling in the index.”

Yahoo seems to be issuing these notices about once a month of late. A look at their Weather Report blog category shows announcements just about once a month. “Yahoo Dance,” anyone?
