Saquon Barkley
Saquon Barkley is a running back for the Philadelphia Eagles. He began his professional NFL career with the New York Giants, as the No. 2 overall pick of the 2018 NFL draft. His 2024-2025 season with the Eagles, the first he spent on the team, also marked his first championship appearance in Super Bowl LIX.
Barkley was born on February 9, 1997 in The Bronx, New York, but spent most of his childhood and teenage years in Coplay, Pennsylvania. After high school, he continued to play football at Penn State.
Barkley comes from a family of athletes. His father, Alibay, was an amateur boxer, and his great uncle, Iran, was a professional in the sport. His brother, Alibay Jr., played professional baseball for the Los Angeles Angels.
